We want to support the study of ethnobotany which constitutes the use of plants by native cultures as food, fiber, medicine, divination, decorative and ritual sources.

We believe in the value of scientific exploration in new plant medicines.

We want to be responsible in our care of nature and know we don't have the right to cause the extinction of any life on the planet. We know that plants have aesthetic, economic and utilitarian value.

In this regard, we wish to contribute to public education by instructing future generations of plant lovers about the history of plants and their integral relationship to the human species.

We encourage communities to support their local botanical gardens by visiting them and learning about the native species in your unique area.

Our vision is that within the respectful relationship between humans and plants we will discover the best possible direction for our mutual survival.
